Waiver & Release

The purchaser of this ticket hereby agrees that this release and Waiver of Liability Agreement is entered by the purchaser/participant in favor of all Central Valley Bear Booster Grad Night Committee members, their heirs, assigns and officers, CV School District board members, and all reps and employees of CV School District.  The undersigned student elects to participate in the Grad Night activities scheduled for the night of JUNE 6th, 2026 and freely, voluntarily, and without duress, execute this agreement under the following terms:

WAIVER, RELEASE AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK

A) I understand and acknowledge that this agreement releases and forever discharges and holds harmless CV Representatives from all liability, claims, demands and causes of action, of whatever kind or nature, either in law or in the equity, which may arise from my participation in the Senior Grad Night party.

B) I understand that my participation may include activities that may be hazardous to me. I expressly and specifically assume the risk of injury or harm in the activities and release the CV Representatives from all liability for injury (including death), illness and/or property damage that may result from my participation.

C) I agree to indemnify each of the CV Representatives for all claims and associated costs, including attorney’s fees, which may be brought against any of them by anyone claiming to have a legal right to act on my behalf regarding any injury (including death) to me which occurs or may occur as a result of my participation in the Grad night event.

D) I, for myself, my heirs, administrators and assigns, voluntarily release, waive and discharge the location, its partners, members, agents, and parent companies, from all claims, demands, damages, and causes of action of any kind or nature for all loss or damages on account of injury (including death) to my person or property for any reason, while participating on amusement devices. Furthermore, I assume full responsibility for the risk of bodily injury (including death) or property damages incurred while, or in relation to, participating on amusement devices connected to the Grad Night event.

2. MEDICAL TREATMENT

I release and forever discharge CV Representatives from all liability claims, demands, and causes of action whatsoever that may arise as a result of any first aid or other medical treatment rendered during my participation in the Grad Night event.

3.   UTILIZATION OF SPECIAL SERVICES

I understand that if I receive special services from CVSD, they are no longer considered a student of CVSD once they receive their diploma and are no longer entitled to said services. Any special accommodations needed for the Grad Night event will be at my own expense and that the price I am paying for admission to Grad Night does not include such service costs.

4.  PHOTO AND VIDEO RELEASE

I hereby grant permission for Central Valley High School, Central Valley Bear Boosters, and Central Valley Grad Night to use photographs/videos of student taken on June 6th, 2026 and June 7th, 2026 at the CV Grad Night Graduation Party in publication news, online and other communications related to the mission of Central Valley High School Grad Night.      

5.  OTHER

I expressly understand that this agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted by law and shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Washington. I agree that in the event that any clause or provision in this Agreement shall be held to be invalid by any court of competent jurisdiction, the invalidity of such clause or provision shall not otherwise affect the remaining provisions of this agreement.

6.   INFORMATION AND ADDITIONAL RULES

The Senior Grad night party is a fun-filled, substance-free get-together for all 2026 Graduated CV students who have signed a waiver and paid their fee to attend.

The 2026 party will be held at The Hub Sports Center.

Transportation is not provided to students to or from the event.

There are NO “in and out” privileges allowed. If a student chooses to leave the event after they have checked in, they will not be allowed to return to the event.  Students leaving early will also forfeit any prizes.

Students are welcome to bring a purse, small cinch sack if needed, however “Security” (which consists of parent volunteers) reserve the right to check these items for any items not allowed in the event. There will be a secure location for students to check these items in when they arrive and will have access to needed items with the help of a security officer.  If inappropriate items are found in any of these personal items (alcohol, drugs, weapons etc) a parent will be called immediately to come and pick up their student and there will be NO REFUND given. These items are NOT allowed.

Each registered student will receive a t-shirt, Bear Bucks and 2 raffle tickets to use at the event!  (included in the $100)

By purchasing this ticket, I (we) acknowledge that I (we) have read and understand this Agreement and agree to ALL Provisions
